Description: Bear can be a shy boy when first meeting. He enjoys to cuddle with his foster mom and snuggles with his siblings. Bear loves to lay with his head buried in blankets. He will also entertain himself with a toy, he loves balls. He also likes to play with his food. He his fine with cats, sleeps through the night in a crate.He came from a hoarding situation so another dog in the house would be best for him. He also would require a fence that is secure. Big Buddy

Description: UPDATE 3/5/2024:  Buddy is having some issues being "stiff" but as long as you don't have stairs he does great.  He does guard his toys but if you do a trade with a snack he will give them up :)  Looking for a GS experienced ownerUPDATE:  Buddy is looking fantastic!!  He is a little "stiff" in his old age but I told him its OK so am I!  He LOVES attention, he likes his toys and he is great with the dogs although I think he would be just as happy as an only dog he does fine with all the dogs here at the ranch :)I can only imagine how Buddy must have felt...  Like no one cared, defeated, ready to give up, a banquet for fleas and tics :(  It took us quite a while to get him back to health and still he deals with ear infections from repeated ones not being treated :(  No worries now big man you are loved and valued!Buddy you have your 2nd Chance and we are going to give you an amazing life!!REQUIRES FENCED YARD! Description: Well BooBoo and LuLu lived their lives with their human mom.  Unfortunately their mom's health was declining and she had to find somewhere for them to go :(  We promised her that we will make sure BooBoo and LuLu never lose each other.BooBoo doesn't act AT ALL like a senior girl.  She runs around the field with LuLu all day.  They sleep together on a rocker in our living room.  Lets find them a great FUREVER home! Description: I come from the south in a place where dogs are just dogs.  We weren't being treated very nicely so they came and got us thank goodness but then we were in a high kill shelter and that is scary too!!!  Lucky for us 2nd Chance came down to pick up some other lucky dogs and the staff asked if they would take me and Vivian and they said YES YIPEEEEE we were really excited so we hitched a ride to the North and now we are staying in this really nice foster home with a big fenced yard and they let us sleep on these things called "furniture" and they give us good food and we get to do this thing called snuggling with them ahhhh life is sooooo much better!!!!If you would like to meet me or better yet me and Viv fill out an application and lets make a date to play :) Click for more information... Chance

Description: Chance came to us after sitting/laying on a concrete kennel floor with a "breeder" who didn't know what to do with a puppy that couldn't use his back legs :(  We were contacted and although we typically do not take large dogs we felt the need to help.We had him with 2 different vets both saying he would never walk again, even our medical director did not hold out any hope.  We just knew we had to try so the Director started researching and working on his back legs and then we started using a cold laser wand and a wheel chair and within months Chance went from the chair to what we called "wonky walking" and now he races around the field!!!Chance is a typical bulldog doing what he wants and he is big so making him do anything is definitely not easy LOL.  He has learned the hand signal for sit and he will do it on command because he knows he gets a treat :)He is good with most dogs but we have found he is not fond of shihtzu's.  At the ranch he lives with cats coming i... Charlie the Bordoodle

Description: Lets talk about Charlie.  His owner got him from a puppy mill in Ohio.  Paid good money and had him shipped here.  Thats always a recipe for disaster :(  His owner was already sick and within the 8 months of Charlies life the owner died.Charlie has had no exposure to ANYTHING :(   We have started working with him exposing him to people, bicycles, walks etc.  Charlie is a super smart dog and is learning quickly but he will need a family that understands there is still much work to do.  An adopter MUST be willing to work with our behaviorist for at least 3 sessions.Charlie requires a fenced yard Click for more information...
