Harry

Hey Colleen, If you look real close, don't you think the furry babies resemble Paul? I told my mom that if Paul grew long hair and got on the floor, he'd be Bradley Harry Cole! His personality is as laid back as BHC!! Thanks for the family portrait, I'm going to frame it. Update: yesterday (Tuesday), BHC was sleeping on his back, feet in the air. Paul came in, he suddenly flipped over out of a sound sleep and ran (as fast as he could) to Paul for a 'yippee, you're home' hugs and kisses. It's such a warm, fuzzy feeling to see his comfort level changing by the hour. He's doing great at Camp Forever Becker's. He knows his new name, but I still want to lock it in for him. Today, BHC and I are going to Manheim Pike Vet to see Dr. Rovner. I'll send you the reports from his visit by mail tonight. I saw the Candace fan club has some recent activity. I'm so happy for her! xoxoxo Right Back At Ya's, Sabrina Jo, Paul, Jillian, and Bradley Harry Cole The Becker's Bradley Harry is awesome!!! You would never know he's the new boy on the block! He helped water Frank's flowers...he loves to drink right from the hose! We took a walk ( I carried him halfway so he wouldn't be tired) to see Christine, the neighbors came out and sat on the lawn with their furry babies to visit with him. He sprawled out just loving it!!! Here's a pic of his favorite spot to lay. I think it's so he can keep close to Paul. When Paul got a shower he waited for him on the bathroom rug. He follows him everywhere. So the picture is of him laying on the bottom of the coffee table, where the swan is. He's better decor than Ethan Allen! Not the best photographer- but you knew that!Love you Mommy! Love you Daddy! xoxo Bradley Harry can go for long walks with us! He can walk then ride in style! Top Paw makes this stroller for furry babies with a canopy and zip front mesh for inclement weather. Harness and locking brakes for safety. What do you think?

Brutus

Ok so Kevin had his foster failure with Tink, so isn't only fair that I get one too!?! Brutus just had to stay with us . . . after all it was Tink's fault! She cried running around the room looking for his sister Sweet Pea when her forever family came to pick her up. So we couldn't do that to her again! I think Tink thought she was their momma! They tried to nurse off her and she let them! OK and then there was me . . . he just melted me with his eyes looking so sad. What a fast learner to going potty and doing tricks! He is my baby boy!

Sweet Pea

It took for ever to get home. But here we are and she's already adapting to her new environment - when we went to bed we placed her in her bed - she cried a bit, and you guessed right - she slept in our (now hers too) bed cuddling between Eneida and me. How is Brutus handling the separation? Today we are going to introduce her to Ralph, he's my barber. They have a 13 year old Pug, Madeline, so who knows, they may adopt Brutus. Carlos- Her exam went well. Dr. Confirmed mild murmur which may go away but it's not threatening at this point on her life. However if it's still there by the time she's ready to be spayed we will do an echocardiogram before any surgery is done - she has an ear infection otherwise very healthy. How is Brutus? Colleen, you should really keep him. Her potty training is coming along fine - there have been two or three small accidents but she's doing better. I forgot to mention that she had her Interceptor and Frontline treatments when she saw Dr. T. We changed her name to Abigail and call her Abby and Abba. We felt that calling her shortened name Pea would sound as pee, not what she or any of us wants to be called. Stay well- Carlos-

Carly

It's Carly...I'm doing very well in my new home. I love my new family, house, and yard. I love Abigail and Hannah but they are older and don't want to play much. Luckily my new people play with me lots! My mom has taken me to this really cool place called a barn! My new aunt holds me on the leash while mom rides but It's so exciting to see all these huge animals! The nice people at the barn think I'm super cute and spoil me with treats. I am very attached to my mom...so much so that I climb in the shower with her! My appetite is great - I've been eating ground beef and rice and chicken broth along with my puppy food. This sure beats the shelter life! Mom is taking me to the vet for a well visit once she recovers from the oral surgery she had today. My new family really loves me and I love them. Thank you for taking me in and making my chance for a happy life possible. I'll be in touch again soon...have to go run around the house and jump on the furniture before I get ready to hop in bed with mom and Abigail for the night. Lots of love! Carly

Bailey

Hi Colleen! Everything is going well. The puppies, Daisy and Duke as we call them, are adjusting well. We've had a few minor accidents in the house, but overall the potty training is going very well and they haven't chewed anything they weren't supposed to...yet. They've learned to run to the door when they want out and they go as soon as they hit the grass. MacGyver is doing very well with them. I'm very proud of him in how he's maintained composure when they jump in his face. :) He still growls, but I can tell the growling is already lessening as he adjusts. Overall it seems to be a success! ~Shawn and Kara Hi Colleen, Look at how big they've gotten! They're doing well since they've been fixed. I felt so bad for poor little Daisy when she got home. She was so groggy and nauseated. Meanwhile, Duke has managed to figure out how to clear the entire height of the gate by taking a running start and springing off the top stair with his back legs. He's so mischievous. Anyway, hope all is well at your house with your new doggie friends! -Kara
